Error on sending an email

I am getting an error “Could not instantiate mail function” inside error log file

When I send an email I got this error.
From Administration> hosted journal> choose any journal> users> select any user> Email
When I send an email to any user I get this error

I solved that error, but I still have another error when I user forgot password, I get the following error
