Hi @Enrique_Manuel_Touce!

About the deposits with xml-error, they failed to be generated on OJS, but the plugin sent them anyway, so we received empty files. There are normally two reasons for that:

  • A submission is missing some files (e.g. a failed upload): On OJS 3.3.0-15, the missing files will be ignored, and just warnings will be emitted while generating the deposit. On OJS 3.4, this problem isn’t going to happen anymore.
  • You probably migrated from OJS 2 and you’re affected by the issue Issues · pkp/pkp-lib · GitHub This issue has been addressed on OJS 3.4 (which will be released within the next week or maybe today).

The next release of the plugin will also help to avoid this situation, as it will not send failed deposits.

We received 21 deposits from your journal, 7 have the xml-error status. In order to fix, you can try to export the problematic issues using the Native XML Plugin (it’s located on the Tools menu), then share with us the errors that appear on the interface (and also from the server error log).

thanks for your reply, some of them are complete but other are on Error state with Unknown LOCKSS state inProgress and xml exports ok. Any idea ?

The deposits with inProgress are ok, they are probably completed, but the plugin has an issue to display the right status (a new version of the plugin will be released soon with a lot of fixes, probably this week).

About the xml-error, you can try to export the problematic issues using the Native XML Plugin (it’s located on the Tools menu), then share with us the errors that appear on the interface (and also from the server error log).
