Empty prepared emails after upgrade

Hi there,
We just migrated from OJS v 2.3.7 to 2.4.8 and everything seems to work perfectly except we dont have access to any prepared email.
We tried everything and it never works (we use OJS since 9 years!).
We use a french (Canada) version.
We cant locate any files in the directories. We found the content of the prepared emails (even after we had them modified to our needs) in the database email_templates and email_templates_data but they dont connect to the interface…
Hoping someone will have a solution. The journal is paralyzed !

Hi @rigas,

OJS only loads the email templates from the XML file when a journal is created, and after that it works only with the database. You’re correct to look in email_templates and email_templates_data. The Journal Manager’s “Prepared Emails” area should also work with those tables and it permits email creation and editing; do you see anything there? (For Canadian French, you’ll need to work with locale='fr_CA' in the database.)

Hi Alec, and thanks a lot.
We found our saved templates (mysteriously). My chief computer manager found that (maybe) the last update of OJS stable version didnt include all previous patches. Is this the case? We had not updated since 2010.

Could you describe what you might have found for a missing patch? I’m not aware of anything that got left out.
