Embedding Matomo on OJS 3 (analysis of website traffic)

Hi there,

I was interested to use Matomo on OJS (latest version for now: 3.1.2-4) for the anonymous statistics purposes of the website usages. I don’t really want to make any advertising to it, I am just asking this for my purpose (and of course it is free by the way).
I have therefore installed it on my premise and now I am asked to embed a code (as it was with Google Analytics in the old times, before the plugins) in the website. They suggest to embed the script before the tag and in any possible files such as header.php or header.tpl
Would you have a suggestion about in which file in the ftp folder I should embed the script provided by Mamoto in order to activate it on my journal site?

Try the custom header plugin, available in the plugin gallery.

However, I have just realized that my hosting provider only offers 1 database, and I don’t want to mix the database of OJS…
What a bad luck.
But thank you again.
