We’re complete newcomers to OJS and with this upgrade to 3.4, we have lost the ability to send emails. Automatic emails are also not going out. My operating system is Ubuntu, but others of us on Windows are having the same difficulty.
I have reviewed the PKP Email troubleshooting page (https://docs.pkp.sfu.ca/admin-guide/3.3/en/email), but it is for 3.3 and I understand very little of it anyway. I have visited Workplace Settings > Emails, reviewed all the settings, and saved. Nothing changed.
I’m not sure what else to do. Any suggestions? We do have a website manager, but he is very busy and if there is something simple I can do to activate email delivery, that would be great.
