Hi,

Is there a place where I can send a message or email to all users of a journal?

Hi @filipekjp,

Currently, only the Announcement tool (which notifies users that there’s a new announcement, but doesn’t send out its full contents via email). There’s some recent discussion of our intentions around mass emails on this thread: Handle Notification mailing list in OJS3

It would be great if this basic requirement for journal management can be added asap. Not being able to email different groups of users e.g. reviewers, readers, etc. is a very big problem.

When we publish a news story, do all journal users receive an email with the notification?
