Describe the issue or problem
A reviewer received an automated mail from the OJS that a review is overdue but he had already submitted it before the deadline. When I checked the editorial History there was no entry of the reminder mail being sent from the System.
What application are you using?
For example, OJS 3.5.0.1

The author received the mail on 2025-10-30 from OJS.

Would you happen to have another sandbox install with emails enabled that may be sending out messages that you might be able to check against?

@rcgillis No it’s not the case. There is no sandbox installed. The mails keep being sent to Reviewers and Section Editors with Subject: Outstanding Editorial tasks and the content mentions that review is overdue. It is causing a lot of confusion. Can you suggest some other fix please?

Hmm… I’m not sure what more to suggest at this point. Perhaps some other community members might have some ideas and could make some suggestions.
