Editor assigning error and submission deleting problem

Firstly I am using OJS 3.3.0.14.

I accidentally assigned myself as an editor for a submission. I assume that my author’s role was assigned as an editor for the submission. Thus, now it is still unassigned as seen in the figure, but I could not assign any editor:

Thus, I want to delete the submission. However, I could not decline the submission to delete it. There is no option as seen in the figure:

It is stuck in an endless loop where I cannot reject, delete or assign an editor. What should I do?

Hi @omerhtp,

One thing you could try is to reate new account and give it editor permissions. Login with that account and unassign the user from the submission and/or delete submission. Logout and if needed remove the new account via the account merge control.
