I need to edit metadata for an article after I publish it. When I try to access I get a message like this: “This version has been published and can not be edited.”
What could I do to edit articles without creating a new version of the article? Is it because of some permission settings?
somebody could help me?
Thanks
Hi @torrespri,
Please refer to the Versioning section on Learning OJS 3.2/.

Thank you very much, it’s what I needed
Hi @pmangahis, when I create a version 2 of an article, the “contributors” section that includes the co-authors is copied blank, which is incorrect and does not allow me to actually use the versioned one.
Hi @torrespri,
Are you able to re-add the authors in Version 2?

I am an administrator and editor, do I need to enable it in some section?
Hi @torrespri,
On the manuscript, go to the Publication > Contributors > Add Contributors.
Kind Regards,
Patricia
Ok, the problem is the following, in the published version 1
But when I want to modify the version to update some metadata, I create a new version and the authors appear blank.
I don’t know why it happens
Hi @torrespri,
Unfortunately, I am unable to replicate the issue you’re having with any of the versions of OJS 3.2. Again, have you tried adding the contributors from Version 1 to Version 2 manually?
