DOI functionality stopped working properly

Hello Everyone,
At the end of 2023, we were still using OJS 3.3. At the beginning of 2024, we attempted to upgrade to OJS 3.4.0.3. Unfortunately, we encountered an issue where the DOI functionality stopped working properly. The DOI page remains stuck in an endless loading state. Despite upgrading to the latest version, OJS 3.4.0.8, the issue persists.

We sincerely hope that colleagues could provide guidance or solutions to help resolve this problem.

Are you able to check your PHP error logs for relevant messages found there? In cases where you face continuous loading errors such as this one it is best to check error log messages, as they provide more clues. If unsure of how to check this, please see here: How do I find my PHP error log?

Hello Roger,
Thank you for your response. I have checked the error log. The DOI section does not produce any errors when accessed. The error log appears in a different section. Could you provide suggestions for this issue?

Can you check your PHP error log? The screenshot appears to be the browser log, which is different. If you’re not sure where to find that, follow the instructions linked above.
