Does not index in Google Scholar

Hello everyone,

I followed all the steps to index the magazines on my website, but they still don’t appear on Google Scholar. Here is an example of the page, to check the meta tags:

I’ve tried some solutions from the forum, but none of them work.

If anyone can help, I would be grateful.

Best regards,

Henrique.

Hi @riquemg,

As a starting point, I would recommend having a look at the troubleshooting advice offered here:

Hi Roger,

Thank you for your response. I have already checked the items, and I have some doubts:

  1. Could the Dublin Core plugin interfere with the Google Scholar plugin’s meta tags?

  2. I used 3 description tags in different languages. Is this a problem?

<meta name="DC.Description" xml:lang="en" content="The present study aims to identify..."/>
<meta name="DC.Description" xml:lang="es" content="El presente estudio tiene como objetivo identificar..."/>
<meta name="DC.Description" xml:lang="pt" content="O presente estudo tem por objetivo identificar..."/>
  1. The meta tags below have different date formats:
<meta name="DC.Date.created" scheme="ISO8601" content="2024-03-31"/>
<meta name="DC.Date.dateSubmitted" scheme="ISO8601" content="2023-04-22"/>
<meta name="DC.Date.issued" scheme="ISO8601" content="2024-09-24"/>
<meta name="DC.Date.modified" scheme="ISO8601" content="2024-09-24"/>
<meta name="citation_date" content="2024/03/31"/>

I have already checked the other items in the provided link and did not identify any other potential issues.

Best regards,

Henrique Nunes.

Thanks, @riquemg, for clarifying. I’m afraid I can’t speak to these issues that you’ve raised, but hopefully another team member or community member might be able to weigh in.

Hi @riquemg,

I don’t see any problems there. Unfortunately the Google Scholar indexing process is not transparent to us, so it’s hard for us to provide specific feedback. I’d suggest contacting Scholar; some reports on this forum say that they’re slow to respond, but will get back to you eventually.
