some topic or text display with # like the picture. our journal works with OJS 2.

Hi @draak,

Have you edited locale/en_US/locale.xml? If you have, it’s possible that you’ve introduced a typo that’s preventing OJS from parsing the XML. I’d suggest running that file through an XML validator, like xmllint.

I checked the locale/en_US/locale.xml by xmllint and correct a issue and the problem solved! Thank you so much
