OJS 3.4.0-9 (upgraded from OJS 3.2)
The journal manager deleted some of the default article components and added custom ones. However, when authors upload their papers, they still see the deleted default components in the “What kind of file is this?” dialog, along with the custom ones. This confuses authors because they’re not sure which component they should select. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you.

However, I see this has been reported by users a few other times, and that it is confusing/problematic: Deleting 'Article text' and 'Other' Article Components appears to have no effect · Issue #9802 · pkp/pkp-lib · GitHub
