Crossref Export Plugin Empty

I’ve got a journal using OJS 2.4.3 with a large back catalogue but when the editor tries to export an issue or article to Crossref XML the lists are empty with no option to export. No errors are showing in the logs or on the page, any ideas?

Thanks

Hi @ajrbyers,

There are quite a few changes to the CrossRef plugin between OJS 2.4.3 and 2.4.5; is it possible to upgrade?

The plugin: yes, the entire system: no. Is it possible to upgrade the
plugin alone or does it have prerequisites outside of its self?

Hi @ajrbyers,

You’ll be stepping off the beaten track; the CrossRef plugin is fairly closely tied to the DOI plugin, wihch has also been changed. I suspect you’ll run into a tangle of dependencies if you attempt to upgrade pieces separately.

It’ll have to wait then, we’ve got some fairly major core changes that we
need to evaluate before upgrading (actually, at this point, not sure if the
standard upgrade method would even work on our journals) anyway, any ideas
on what might cause the issues and articles not to appear? These have
recently been upgrade to 2.4.3 from an older version (FYI: The related
journal is one of the SLJOLs)

Andy

Hi Andy,

Do those articles have DOIs assigned? IIRC that’s a major requirement for the CrossRef export plugin to even list the articles for export.
