We have several Chinese authors or Chinese scientists willing to submit manuscripts to our journal Silva Fennica. Many of them have persistent access problems. Our administrator suggests that the requests for Javascrip from “ajax.googleapis.com”, “google.com” ja “gstatic.com” may cause the Chinese firewall to impede access. Chinese scientist are an important group to attend and we would like to find a persistent solution to this problem. Has anyone else observed the same problem? If you have, have you found a solution (other than ask authors to use VPN outside China)? We have OJS 3.1.
