Checklist stuck on Loading and they appear in Spanish in the submission form

We upgraded from OJS 3.1.1.4 to 3.3.0.11. We hadn’t configured the submission checklist in the previous version. Now in the 3.3.0.11 version the checklist appears in Spanish and we cannot modify the checklist as it is stuck in “Loading”.

Hi @agmarrugo,

Often times the ongoing loading can point to something going on “behind the scenes” on your server - can you provide any relevant output from your PHP error log that might indicate what is going on here (usually that provides some clues).

The 3.3.0.11 was running on a testing server and the admin told me it could be a problem with AJAX trying to contact the production server to get the checklist. We downgraded back to 3.1.1.4 and manually defined a checklist and upgraded back to 3.3.0.11 and now it loaded the checklist without problems. It probably is a bug when the checklist has not been previously defined.
