Changing the address of the issue and the article in the archive

Hello. I would like to know where it is possible to change the display of the issue address so that instead of the current address, the one that I assign is displayed?
For example, now the link looks like this:
https://sitename.com/index.php/mathematics-vestnik/issue/view/58
To make it look like this:
https://sitename.com/2023-110-2

Does it change in the Article Handler.inc.php or in other files? I will be glad of any help.

OJS version 3.0.0-15

Hi @0lyans,

If you go to Issues - Back issues and then go through the list of issues you have, select the issue that you want to assign as the current one, you can select which one gets treated as the current issue:

Is that what you were trying for?

Thanks for the answer, but I don’t need to change the current issue. I need to change the address of the browser bar so that its format is displayed in a shorter version (as in the example link above). That is, I want to change the issue URL (it’s probably generated somewhere) to make it look more elegant. This is really very important for our journal.

This is the link I want to get in the browser line:
https://sitename.com/2023-110-2.
2023 - year, 110 - volume, 2 - number

Hi @0lyans,

Thanks for clarifying. Doing that would require modifying the code (and comes with certain risks. I don’t know what to suggest for how to go about that, but hopefully someone else can weigh in on this.
