We are using OJS 3.1.2 for our journal.
we have a problem when we click any “ok” to approve such as sending an e-mail or allocating a reviewer. The website went into a continuous loop and did not send a mail or reviewing request. Sometimes it gives this message “There was a problem sending an email message. Please try again later, or contact your system administrator.” Sometimes when I’m tired of waiting no longer shut down then I see that the referee is assigned when I check whether or not. There is no problem in the use of the interface of the site, but it does not perform the transactions in the cases where it should register to the database, “sending mail, assigning arbitrator, creating a new user, changing password”. Is there anyone who’s had this problem before? or how can we solve it?
