We are running on OJS 3.2.1 and one of our journals is having an issue with automated emails that are sent from the editor through OJS to article reviewers. The template is pulling in the old editors name, rather than the current editor who is listed as the contact. The old editor has also had all of his roles removed from the system, yet the problem is persisting. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of problem?

This sounds bizarre, but one of the things I’m wondering might be at play here is if the the old editor is assigned as a section editor under any sections? And, if removing them there might make a difference?

Are you sure/positive the letters were not customised with the previous editor’s full name? I was asked this on one of our journals…
