Hello,
Hope everyone is doing well
I am facing related with “Author Biography” segment.
Sometime Author Biography shows all the authors of the article, sometimes it shows only one or two authors.
Though meta data are placed perfectly but we are facing this issue with all of our journals.
Hello @rcgillis
Authors are adding there detail when submitting their papers. By taking information from that segment, Author Biography is generating itself. There is no such segment or block or plugins for author biography.
My suspicion is that if the authors do not have a bio statement (in Publication - Contributor - edit User - Bio Statement, then it appears, but if not, then it doesn’t. Can you verify that this is the case with some of your submissions that are displaying this behavior?
I can assure you there is no issue with bio statement. Every article in our journal is without bio statement.
Without bio statement, many articles shows author biography perfectly.
We have used plenty of methods. But could not figure the problem or issue.
Are you able to provide screenshots of what the Author Bios in the contributor records (attached to the submission) for the second author for the article you linked to?
Hello rcgillis,
Hope you are doing well.
I have solved the problem. It is a glitch. In the bottom section there is box of author meta data which named “Bio Statement”. I have added line gap by pressing enter and boom, all authors are showed perfectly.
Though that section is not mandatory to fill but without putting any space/or blank line you could not show any author’s name under the abstract. I believe it is a glitch in backend panel.
