Article Report Gateway Timeout

Describe the issue or problem
When clicking on “Article Report” in the dashboard I eventually get a Gateway Timeout error. I thought this would have to do with the size of the metrics table so I reduced the metrics table to 670,000 records from 2.3 million but I’m still getting the error.

What application are you using?
OJS 3.3.0-19

Additional information

I ran the sql optimize command on the metrics, submissions, and authors table but that didn’t help.

I increased the apache timeout to 180 seconds and that did the trick.
