Article page loads extremely slow

Describe the issue or problem
The article page loads very slowly in OJS 3.4.0.8. Sometimes they load extremely slowly. Other OJS pages are not affected. I do not recall the loading of Article pages being so slow in previous versions.

Steps I took leading up to the issue
The sample website: https://pub.iapchem.org/ojs/index.php/admet/index. Clicking any article can demonstrate the issue.

What application are you using?
OJS 3.4.0-8

It might be the similar articles plugin that results in large SQL queries. You may disable it.
