Description of issue or problem I’m having:

Our articles are not indexed in google scholar, all plugins and metadata are as per PKP guidelines but after this also articles are not indexed in googl scholar

As per the provided link ( Google Scholar Indexing) the website of our journal does not have any error but after this also our articles are not indexed in google scholar, is there any other solution.
Any particular setting or plugins which is help in indexing our articles in google scholar.

Hi @managing_Editor,

There is the Google Scholar plugin - are you using that? It should be usable for most later versions of OJS (e.g. 3.2+)

This is enabled but after this also articles are not indexed in google scholar, anything else which we can do at our end to index our articles on google scholar.

Hello @managing_Editor,

How long ago did you enable it/start your journal? It typically takes some time for Google Scholar to start indexing your content (typically several weeks, or sometimes it can take longer)

Journal is running for the past 9 years but on PKP/OJS platform we started last month, is there any method that we can index our articles in google scholar.

Hi @managing_Editor,

Thank you for your response - it may take a while before Google Scholar indexes your site. I have seen it take several months from when journals have started until when Google Scholar crawls your site, which it does automatically.
I can’t say for certain how long this will take, but, if after several months you see that your site is not being crawled by Google Scholar. I’d encourage you to have a look at some of our troubleshooting tips in our Google Scholar guide: Google Scholar Indexing
