According to the PKP ecosystem, there is an alternative to OCS (Open Conference Systems) or some recommendation that seems prudent to you.

You may want to have a look at the response given here: Help to install OCS - #2 by astevens - Indico is one of the possibilities suggested, as well as potentially using OJS 3 to host conference proceedings.
