Hello, We have a new member that needs to add the Hindi language local to our instance. We went through the usual steps to add the local. Sit Settings ->languages → Install Locale → Save. There is only a loading circle present and stays. I have successfully added German but, for some reason Hindi will not install. Is there another setting or way to add Hindi for this application?

I found this thread and I’m wondering if this could be the issue.
It seems that the database has a UTF-8 format. Maybe this format does not include Hindi characters? If this is the case, is there a format that I can switch the database to that will be able to handle Hindi characters?

There’s probably an error message in the PHP error log that shows up when you attempt to add Hindi. That’ll help debug the issue.
