I am running OJS-3 and my journal has 4 sections. At the moment the author can submit his article as shown below
My question is how to have him submit to a particular section i.e., add the “section” as part of the submission workflow?

Interesting. This is what I see for my submission form, where it does allow the selection of a section:
This suggests to me that you might want to check your section settings ? In particular, you’ll want to ensure that you don’t have the “Items can only be submitted by Editors and Section Editors.” option selected for the sections you want authors to be able to submit to.
