Have you tried embedding the iframe in a custom block? If so, what was the result? This post goes into a little more detail about embedding iframes: Embedding video in abstract - #17 by BJBMS - one user mentions that they have had success with doing this. One issue you might run into is that the iframe tag may not be one of the allowed html tags in the config.inc.php settings, so you might want to check to be sure.
