Add content over the Footer section or create an internal section to give it another style

Hello, I want to add content over the Footer section or create an internal section to give it another style, how can I do it? Where should I add the corresponding html? I can’t find the footer template. Thank you.

Thank you @pmangahis . I was able to do it. I added another section to the footer and I was able to give it a different color as shown in the image. The theme is the default one and I did it by editing

/lib/pkp/templates/frontend/components/footer.tpl

Is this wise and would updating lose that modification?

I do apologize for the delay. Depending on which version you upgrade to next, updates to the theme may also be required.
