[3.3.0.10] Autors not available at Editorial and Production Discussion

Authors are not available at Editorial and Production Discussion in 3.3.0.10 version.

The only way I’ve found to send an email to the author in these two stages (Editorial and Production), is notifying the author, but can’t be attached any files with this option, and I think is not the best way.

Hi @psanso,

Thanks for your question. Could you please check to see if the journal editor is also assigned as a reviewer on the submission? That could be one reason that the author would not be appearing in the Discussion, since reviewers and authors usually cannot communicate directly through OJS.

Hi @kshuttle ,
the journal editor is not assigned as reviewer in this submission. Probably is something wrong with this particular author user profile, because I’ve done new submissions with different authors and they’re available at Editorial and Production Discussion stage.
