Manually Decline or Accept review invitation on behalf of reviewer in OJS3

Hi,

When review invitation is sent, and reviewer responds by email that he/she won’t do or will do review, editor should manually record a “Declined” or “will do” invitation. We had this in OJS2, it was useful.

Hi @dijana,

As Editor, you should be able to click “Review Details” for the reviewer assignment, then click “Confirm” at the bottom of the dialog to confirm the review on the reviewer’s behalf.

Hi,

If you do that, it means that the review is submitted, not just accepted or declined. I think the point is just to change the status of request, not submit it right away.
