Why OMP can't be indexed in google scholar?

Please help to index our OMP to google scholar: https://ebook.borneonovelty.com/index.php/repository/index

Hi @borneonoveltypublish,

In recent versions, OMP has been updated to be compatible with Google Scholar indexing. It could be that there is an aspect of your instance that is not configured correctly, however. You may want to have a look at our troubleshooting guide here: https://docs.pkp.sfu.ca/google-scholar/en/#troubleshooting-for-journal-managers-and-editors

It is mostly written for OJS, so, not all of it will apply, but there will be aspects that do.

When you say “recent versions” which versions do you mean? It doesn’t seem to be working in 3.3.0.11.

Sorry - I should’ve clarified. I don’t think OMP really worked that well with Google Scholar until versions 3.3+ (so 3.3. and 3.4). Prior to that, OMP wasn’t really compatible, so far as I know.

I read on Google Scholar “Documents larger than 5MB, such as books and long dissertations, should be uploaded to Google Book Search; Google Scholar automatically includes scholarly works from Google Book Search”. I guess it is not possible (anymore), maybe an OMP Google Book plugin would be nice.
