When supporting a growing number of OJS journals, every now and then editors across journals need to be informed about maintainance work, OJS updates, new features, best practices etc.
So far (up to OJS 3.3.0-11) there is no way to inform users across journals.
Describe the solution you’d like
Possible solutions include
- as an admin tool: a bulk mail option to address specific roles across journals
- as an admin tool: export all users of specific roles into a csv file (that can then be used to create a mailing list)
- when exporting users via “stats/users”: allow admins to include all users of a specific role across journals. So far this includes only users of the current journal context
