We fear that the “PDF” button may not be intuitive for all readers. Some of our newer journals have replaced it with “Read more”, but it is not easy to extend this change to our older journals.
Describe the solution you’d like
Would it be possible to add a Read or Download tag (customisable via localisations) introducing the galleys’ PDF button ?
It would be coherent with the other metadata in the page, each with its own description.
Who is asking for this feature?
Journal Administrators would like to make the journals navigation more intuitive also for common readers who are unfamiliar to OJS
