Click “Editorial History” at the top of the page in the workflow; then use the History tab. The emails are there along with events.

I go to Management > Settings > Workflow.
I do not see :Editorial History" or History tab.
The tabs I do have are Genres / Submissions / Review / Press Library / Production / and Emails.
So not too sure of where I am suppose to go to see this information?

We did some checking and the emails are not showing up.
We see the events.
I had applied all recommended patches a couple of weeks ago.
Is there a patch that I missed?

Hi @EdwardDavid,
Is plugins/generic/emailLogger in your installation? If so, remove it. This is one of the changes that was made between 1.1.1-0 and 1.1.1-1, and may affect email logging/sending. Alternately, upgrade to OMP 1.1.1-1.

Yes it was there and I removed it.
I will look at doing the upgrade over the week-end when there is less activity.
Will this affect the emails going forward?
What about past emails I guess those are lost and not recoverable?

The emails have always been logged, as far as I recall, and the change only affects their presentation. If the upgrade doesn’t correct things for you, would you be willing to provide me with a DB dump and a submission ID? I can check there.

I did a dry run for omp-1.0.0_to_1.1.1-1.patch.gz.
Generated a ton of Hunk failed at x messages.
I am running Open Monograph Press 1.1.1.0.
Is this the correct file to upgrade my OMP version to OMP 1.1.1-1 or should I be using a different file

Do you have many local modifications to your code? If not, I’d strongly recommend the full upgrade over the patch-based upgrade.

It turns out that the bug entry adding email log presentation in the event log was mis-filed against OMP 1.1. That code was only added to the master branch, which will next be released in OMP 1.2. I’ve back-ported it for OMP 1.1.1:
(Note that until this is merged, it’s pre-release code, so YMMV.)
