OJS 3.5.0 - Spanish translation keys not translated

Issue

After upgrading to OJS 3.5.0, the dashboard shows translation keys instead of Spanish text.

[Screenshot shows the problem clearly - dashboard title displays ##submission.dashboard.view.assigned## (0) and sidebar menu shows multiple untranslated keys like ##submission.dashboard.view.active##, ##submission.dashboard.view.needs##, etc.]

Request

• Is this a known issue with OJS 3.5.0 Spanish localization?
• When will Spanish translations be completed?
• Any temporary workarounds available?

The new dashboard features look great, but we can’t use them properly without translations.

Hi @kleberth

Yes, we are aware of this. Thanks.
We are working on this and missing strings will be added to next 3.5 release.

Till then, you can enable the “defaultTranslations” plugins to see the missing strings in English instead of the key.
Alternatively, if you are in a hurry, you can use the “customTranslation” plugin to translate those strings in your installation.

Up until this date there is no plugin that’s compatible with 3.5.0-1 so i just added to the locale.po the translations:

Hi, I did this, but the dashboard in Spanish continues showing #submission.dashboard.
