Obtaining papers metrics

Hi @filipe,

You can take a look at available plugins by logging into our test drive instance here: https://pkp.sfu.ca/ojs/ojs_demo/ - if you go to settings - website - plugin gallery - you can see a list of available plugins there for OJS. You could do the same for OMP (for ebooks): https://pkp.sfu.ca/omp/omp_demo/

Although, there would be some crossover between the two platforms.

There is also the in-application statitics capabilities for OJS that you may wish to consult: Learning Open Journal Systems 3.3 - Statistics

There are efforts underway to work with Crossref Event data (tied to DOIs), however, this has not been fully developed by PKP. This post gives a little bit of an overview, but is somewhat dated: Citation Rate in OJS 3 - #6 by ajnyga - and I’m not sure that the paperbuzz plugin is being actively developed.

There may be other applications that I may have missed, so other users may wish to weigh in.

Best regards,

Roger
