Hello! What will the new DOI status “stale” do? I’ve searched the Github and found this: “Set Stale (in case they want to force an automatic deposit to redeposit this item)” in Allow users to mark DOIs unregistered · Issue #7518 · pkp/pkp-lib · GitHub. But I don’t understand what it means. Others have translated it to ~“outdated”, “obsolete”, but that doesn’t seem to correspond with the above. Could you please comment on this @NateWr, or maybe someone else in the know?
