Native XML import/export

Dear all,

Is there a shortcut to uploading monographs metadata with many chapters (pdfs)?
At the moment, this does not seem to be possible: importing/exporting a monograph of this kind with the Native XML plugin consistently imports/exports authors and other information, but nothing on chapters; when importing/exporting with Native XML plugin chapter information is lost.

Hi @primozs,

Unfortunately, the import methods for OMP are limited at this time. Importing via Native XML is possible (and one can include chapters), such as what is outlined in the sample xml here: omp/sample.xml at stable-3_2_1 · pkp/omp · GitHub (please note that this is from 3.2.1 - you didn’t indicate which version you’re using, but you’d want to switch to the same branch as the version as you’re using for appropriate sample data.

Thank you for your info. We are using 3.1… I guess time for an upgrade. Hope it will work in the latest version.
