At least these two things do not update the “last activity” date shown in submission lists (editors’ view):
- Editor accepts the article
- Reviewer accepts or declines an invitation to review the article
We didn’t try different activities systematically. Example 1 is excusable in
that the editor already knows it happened, but in example 2 we think the
date should alert the editor that something happened that needs attention.
(It seems to be reporting the date_status_modified field, but wouldn’t
the date_modified field be better?)
