I would like chapters in a few publications in OMP to be indexed on their own, to be made searchable and easeier to refer to as independent publications
https://ebooks.uis.no/index.php/USPS/catalog/book/12 In this book it doesn’t seem to work at all. When I search in the library catalogue Oria for the two chapters I have registered in OMP they are not found.
https://ebooks.uis.no/index.php/USPS/catalog/book/211 In this book it seems to somewhat work for two of the chapters: When searching for them I am sent to the main title (monograph title) in Oria. Not really what I want, but better than nothing I guess. For the two other chapters it doesn’t seem to work at all.
I have registered the chapters under Publication → Chapters in OMP. I have assigned them with their own DOI, and I have tried to register the DOIs in CrossRef. For the first book I have to do a new registration of the whole title, which is what I should do to update in Crossref, at least as far as I can understand.
Has anyone else tried to register chapters in OMP, with an aim to make them stand out as independent publication? Do you get this to work, and how do you get it to work?
