How to insert current date (variable) to email templates

Use of PKP tags in tinmyceeditor using toolbar

I found that in toolbar of tinymce editor in OJS3.0.1.0 that there is tool/icon to insert PKP tag in text. Is there any list of those tags and a brief instruction so we can use that efficiently. I Think that this can be quite useful and handy tool so it would be pity if it will not be used often because it is maybe not sufficiently documented. Thanks
