How ldap plugin works?

I have reviewed the ldap documentation but I do not have an ‘Authentication Sources’ link on my Site Admin screen? I am using version 3.0.2 and would like to utilize the ldap plugin. Am I missing something or is there updated documentation?

The LDAP plugin has not been rewritten for the 3.x version yet.

Hi Alex,

I follow all the instructions in LDAP Documentation, but still i cannot log into OJS system with Active directory account.
Here what i do:

Create local user, then change authentification source to ldap
Login with this user with the same username and password from ldap, but it doesn’t work.

I use OJS version 2.4.8.1.

Hi @coldsummer,

That plugin is rarely used and may be in need of maintenance – but I suspect the issue is due to differences between how LDAP hashes passwords and how OJS hashes passwords. See the LDAP documentation on this point.
