Full email templates package anywhere

Hi,

While trying to translate in romanian various steps of editorial process I noticed that there are some missing email templates (like submission sent back to copyediting which does not exist in the en po file or I could not find it). Is there a way where we can download the complete email template po file?

Thank you.

Catalin

Hi @ctoma,

Thank you for offering your translation efforts for Romanian - it is much appreciated! Typically we advise people to translate from weblate (or translation contribution platform), as per our instructions here: https://docs.pkp.sfu.ca/translating-guide/en/translate-software#how-content-is-organized-in-weblate

Within weblate, if you go directly to the emails area: Open Journal Systems/emails @ Weblate

You can click on files to download the email files. This downloads a zip file and within that zip file you should be able to pinpoint a file just for Romanian.

I hope this helps?

Hello,

Downloaded the file, still cannot find the content in the romanian file or in the english version. It is about email templates within the editorial process.

" Your submission, … has been sent back to the copyediting stage, where it will undergo further copyediting and formatting to prepare it for publication.

Occasionally, a submission is sent to the production stage before it is ready for the final galleys to be prepared for publication. Your submission is still forthcoming. I apologize for any confusion.

If you have any questions, please contact me from your [submission dashboard]

We will contact you if we need any further assistance.

Kind regards,"

Hi @ctoma,

What version of OJS are you working from? Are you able to locate the message within your OJS instance - what is it called?

The version is 3.4.0-7. Unfortunately, I am not able to locate the text in the language file(s). In fact, I had to add a lot of new lines in all ro language files following the markers appearing when accessing the interface. Frankly speaking, storing email templates into the database would make more sense to me.

Hi @ctoma,

Hmmm. Paging my colleague @EmmaU who deals more directly with translations and might have some suggestions.
