Event: editors reflect on running community-led OA journals

To celebrate International Open Access Week, University of Leicester Open Journals [https://journals.le.ac.uk/] will be running two events that may be of interest to people here. The theme this year is Community over Commercialisation and we have asked several of our editors to talk about the opportunities and challenges in running community-led open access journals, all of which use OJS.

In the first talk, Cheryl Hurkett will be reflecting on her experience of running an open access journal to teach natural sciences. The second talk will include a reflection on a recent issue we published on Museums in Ukraine: https://journals.le.ac.uk/ojs1/index.php/mas/issue/view/231

Full listings below. All events are online, free and open to all. Any questions, please email me: William Farrell wjbf1@leicester.ac.uk
