Al intentar modificar los metadatos me dice que ha ocurrido un error en el formulario ya que no se han introducido las referencias y al momento de crear el articulo lo he hecho de forma correcta
Hola! Copia las referencias de nuevo sin formato: Ctrl+Shift+V. Si las estás copiando de un PDF ese puede ser el problema.
Fíjate que el enlace está desarmado y puede que haya algún carácter raro.
Trabaja primero las referencias en un DOC y luego intenta pegarlas, siempre sin formato.

Tal vez el archivo error_log de tu servidor pueda dar mayores indicios. Pero estimo que es un error de caracteres.
¿Estás copiando las referencias desde un PDF?
Puedes probar escribir manualmente la primer referencia, solamente y darle Guardar. ¿Te arroja igualmente error?
las escribo manualmente, sale el error, las copio del word igualmente sale el error
Entonces revisa el error_log desde el servidor para ver más detalles.

Yo también veo que hay algo de caracteres raros en las citas, pero como menciona Patricio @Ppantaleo hasta ver el archivo de LOG de errores podemos darnos una idea más clara de lo que está sucediendo.
Por otro lado, lo que veo es que las palabras claves están mal introducidas. Se deben introducir palabra por palabra, si haces copy/paste de todo el renglón te lo pone como una palabra muy larga.
¿Qué versión de OJS y PHP estás utilizando?

@Diana_Milena_Betanco , tienes una versión muy obsoleta del OJS (más de 5 años) la cual ya no tiene soporte y muchos de tus problemas se solucionan migrando a una versión más estable.
