In our community some dictionaries and encyclopaedias are edited in digital format and we are studying the possibility of hosting them in OJS and OMP. However, we have a doubt about the organisation and dissemination of the entries, since they are being published individually without a specific theme or letter order. Would it make sense to publish them continuously, for example, and then organise them in volumes? Do you know of any examples of this type of publication in these softwares?

Not quite the same, but one researcher group has created on OJS a “Database of Variables for Content Analysis” as accompaniment to a book on the same topic. Similar to an encyclopedia. They explicitly chose not only to publish the full text as PDF, but to put it into the abstract field.
