Dear Team;
Authors from few published preprints get automatically removed even though editing is not allowed after submission gets published. I faced this situation multiple times in current as well as the previous versions, however, I could not reproduce the same and hence didn’t report yet. Earlier I considered ORCID verification token as most of the author removed was authenticated and I supposed that they might click the link again and somehow got removed and hence disabled ORCID profile plugin. But today again I noticed that contributors from few submissions get removed (and moderators didn’t touch those submissions after published.).
Since I don’t understand when and how they got removed and hence cant reproduce it, I took a quick look at Scielo Preprint and noticed that few published preprint exists without author on their server too (and hence I assumed that its due to the same issue as I am facing).
I think its some kind of unnoticed bug and hence reporting here. I only noticed that I cleared template & data cache through administrator option a few days prior every time I found few authors removal (I also tried to clear cache but could not reproduce).
