Adding html file after publication of issue

Hello,

I’m looking for information on if it is possible to add an html galley (in addition to a PDF galley) once an issue has been published? Would it be best to unpublish and add or create a new version of the submission? We don’t want to alter the original publication date/citation year by adding an html file and I’m not sure if these steps would do that.

If the content of the HTML is the same as the PDF, I wouldn’t create a new version.
Unpublish, upload the HTML galley, publish is the way to go. If you unpublish/publish a single article, the publication date is not changed. If you unpublish a whole issue, the publication date for the articles will be changed when you publish again. So you should do the former.
