When we add contributor in Add Contributor view there are options to choose that soemone is Author or Translator. I found in many situations that Contributor is someone who edit and translate or edit and do part of authoring. I think that it might be useful to allow to solve that by the following:
Add option co-editor or editor
Allow to check two options instead onl one.

Author and Translator are just two of the example roles that OJS comes configured with. You can create your own in the Roles area of Setup.
However, we’re not likely to permit multiple selections unless third-party contributor descriptions demand that kind of support. We haven’t worked closely with these standards but will likely do so in the future.
