Save the date and spread the word! The 6th Annual Student Journal Forum (SJF 2021) will take place online from February 16th to 19th, 2021. This event will be paced over four days, with one to two short sessions each day. These will include information sessions and panels focused on helping you and your editorial team expand your knowledge of the journal publishing process. Sessions being planned include topics such as:

  • Accessibility
  • Author rights and copyright

  • Project management for Editors
  • Starting or reviving a journal

SJF 2021 will also feature a journal “show & tell,” providing editors with an opportunity to present their work and highlight their successes and challenges. We encourage editors at all levels of experience for journals in all disciplines to apply through this online form. The event is open to everyone but is being planned for post-secondary students in Canada who are involved with or considering starting a student journal. Registration will open at the end of January.
